Breast augmentation is considered outpatient surgery, and you are expected to return home the same day. Your plastic surgeon will give you general anesthesia or sedation so you will not be awake during the procedure.
Once you are sedated, the doctor will prepare the implants. Based on your customized plans, the doctor will then make incisions.
