Radiesse
In Temecula, CA

As we age, our face creates wrinkles in areas that have lost definition. Radiesse is a non-invasive way for patients to achieve their youthful looks again. Dr. Brian Eichenberg, Dr. Rachel Ford, and Dr. Michael Hill at Renuance Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa in Murrieta, California, are renowned in the field of plastic surgery and facial cosmetics. They look forward to meeting with you to discuss your options to bring back your youth.

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a dermal filler injected into the face or hands to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and helps restore the volume that loss of bone structure causes naturally as we age. This filler adds structure and volume, and stimulates collagen production to bring a more youthful look to your skin. At Renuance in Temecula Radiesse can be used to address smile lines, the jawline, chin, cheeks, and mid-face wrinkles to help you reach your aesthetic goals.

Here’s some of the ways Radiesse can improve your appearance:

  • Contouring the face
  • Bringing fullness and softness to intended areas that have lost volume as you’ve aged
  • Tightening the skin

One of the best areas to add Radiesse is in areas where there is bone structure, like the cheeks and jaw.

Benefits of Radiesse

Drs. Brian Eichenberg, Rachel Ford, and Michael Hill help their patients get the youthful results they are seeking with this long-lasting dermal filler. After receiving Radiesse Temecula patients may experience instant results, including:

  • Defined jawlines and cheekbones
  • A boost in the reproduction of collagen
  • A decrease in the appearance of smile lines and wrinkles

Another benefit to patients is that Radiesse is non-invasive.

How Does Radiesse Work?

Radiesse is made of a gel substance and a biodegradable substance called calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA). Over time, as the CaHA processes, you will notice your skin’s quality has improved.

Radiesse Candidates

You may consider Radiesse if you feel your face has lost volume in specific areas. As we age, this can happen. You may notice areas where your face needs a little bit of a lift. Radiesse is the filler that will add more volume and shape.

At least one week before your Radiesse appointment, you'll need to avoid the following, as consuming anything on this list could increase the amount of bruising:

  • Alcohol
  • Blood thinners
  • Aspirin
  • Ibuprofen, or any other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications
  • Vitamins or foods that contain fish oil, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin E

Talk to one of our expert physicians at Renuance in Murrieta, CA, to determine if Radiesse is the right treatment for your cosmetic needs.

Your Radiesse Treatment

Most Radiesse procedures take about 30-45 minutes. The injections can be temporarily uncomfortable, but you may ask for a topical anesthetic to numb your skin in the injection area. Your plastic surgeon will then inject the needle just below your skin's surface and deposit the dermal filler. After the injection, your doctor may adjust the location and distribution of the filler by massaging your face.

Radiesse FAQs

With Radiesse, the collagen in your skin will increase production. This boost of collagen production allows results from your dermal filler to last up to a year, maybe longer.

Radiesse gives your skin a more natural lift than having a facelift. It is more natural than several leading dermal fillers popularly used today.

Juvederm is a dermal filler that can restore volume and moisture to the skin. It can be applied to some areas that Radiesse may not be used, such as the mouth, lips, chin, under the eyes, and around the nose. Radiesse results have been shown to last longer than Juvederm results. Another difference is that Radiesse is a combination of a gel substance and a biodegradable substance called calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), making it thicker than dermal fillers like Juvederm. Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler.

The cost of Radiesse depends on the number of 1.5mL syringes you will need to achieve your results. You can expect to pay anywhere from $799 to $2,000 or more, depending.
