By Brian O'Reilly
September 1, 2004
(FORTUNE Small Business) – Brian Eichenberg is a plastic surgeon with a plan. From his practice in Temecula, Calif., the doctor sees exploding national demand for all manner of cosmetic procedures, from Botox treatments to laser hair removal. An entrepreneur could get seriously rich, he reckons, by tapping that market on a mass scale.
Eichenberg is already one of the most popular plastic surgeons between San Diego and San Bernardino. He has a four-month appointment backlog, and annual revenues for his one-doctor practice are already in the low seven figures. "It's more money than I ever imagined I'd be making," he says. Read more

Valley Living
May, 2005
(Valley Living) - There are two things that are certain, taxes and getting older. There isn’t much Dr. Eichenberg and his Aesthetic Nurse Specialists at RENUANCE can do about your taxes, but the getting older part?... they’re making it easier and easier to turn back the clock. We’re talking about Aesthetic care, a relatively new term on the scene in the world of plastic surgery. But it’s not surgery at all. Aesthetic care referes to non-surgical procedures that not only fix existing details about your appearance that you’s like to improve upon, it can prevent them from happening in the first place. Press Enterprise
Sunday, September 25, 2005
Laurie Lucas
(Press Enterprise excerpt) - Men love laser treatment for aging and sun damage because there’s no down time, says Dr. Brian Eichenberg, a plastic surgeon in Temecula. The Fraxel laser “air brushes” sun damage and pigmented lesions spot by spot. Physicians can treat the entire face in about 30 minutes.
Although physicians say they mostly see men 40 to 60 seeking cosmetic procedures, men in their 20s and 30s are booking appointments, especially for acne-scar or sun-damage correction.
According to a Media Research Inc. study, the 18- to 24-year-old men’s grooming market increased by 38 percent to more than $143 million in 2004. Read more |
